16/365 - All The President’s Men

Today, I rested & rested. Taking it easy, eating slowly, & watching movies. I watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl! I can’t believe it came out in 2003. That seems so long ago. By the way, the DVD digital label is misspelled, “…_CARRIBEAN”. Hahaha.

We ended the day watching “All The President’s Men” (1976) with young Robert Redford & Dustin Hoffman. The movie is about the press & the Watergate scandal with President Nixon’s administration. A long movie, but a really cool depiction of the stresses & investigations of the press around the cover-up of our nation’s great scandal. I bought the movie on sale for $3.50 from Best Buy last year, a great deal!
