29/365: Surreal Mozart’s Opera, The Magic Flute

Saturday night (1/29/2011) was the second showing of a surreal & hilarious rendition of Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute” at the UH Moores Opera Center. I went with a couple of friends from church & snatched up 8 box seats on the left side. What an amazing & fun show!!! Imagine an opera taking place in outer-space with 3D projections popping up randomly. YES, part of it was in 3D! They signaled when we should don our 3D specs.

Papageno you stole the show with your jovial outbursts! Katy & Elizabeth y’all rocked the blue & the crazy giggle-singing.

We had a blast & then hit up Brasil after the show!
