30/365: Phil Wickham Sings It Out

Sunday, Sarah invited me to a Phil Whickham concert at Friendswood Community Church. I met several more cool, Freebirds-loving Aggies there (Chris, Jamison, Ian…). An amazing night of praise & worship to our loving God followed!

Don’t Waste Your Life Tour

The Don’t Waste Your Life Tour came to Houston last Friday. The concert was held in a small church sanctuary / school gym. Best of all, it was FREE. Well actually, we did have to bring some canned goods to enter. UH InterVarsity Christian Fellowship gathered up circa 20 people & we arrived at the crack of dawn after work a little before 6pm to loiter in line outside. The concert started at 8pm.

The God-fearing Christian rappers Lecrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Sho Baraka, & Flame produced a spectacular, awe-inspiring, and Christ-centered show.
